At PNOC, we are at the forefront of driving innovative infrastructure projects that support emerging technologies in the Philippines. Our mission is to provide sustainable and efficient energy solutions, paving the way for a brighter future. Discover our key initiatives that are transforming the energy landscape.
Supporting the Future of Offshore Wind Energy
The Batangas Offshore Wind Power Integration Port is a pivotal project aimed at bolstering the capabilities of offshore wind players. By repurposing the PNOC Energy Supply Base into an offshore wind integration port, we are facilitating the growth of offshore wind (OSW) development in the country. This strategic port will offer warehousing and logistical support, contributing significantly to enabling OSW projects. Our integration port has the potential to serve 24 OSW energy service contracts in the Batangas & Mindoro area, with a combined total potential capacity of 21,555 MW.
Advocating for a Cleaner Transition Fuel
In our commitment to advancing cleaner energy sources, PNOC is developing the Batangas Open Access Terminal (BOLT) for LNG. This state-of-the-art LNG terminal will serve as a central hub for the distribution of liquefied natural gas (LNG) across the Philippines. By providing an open-access terminal, we are enabling efficient management of LNG as it transitions between liquid and gas states. This initiative supports the use of LNG as a transition fuel, promoting a more sustainable and cleaner energy future.
